True Success Comes Through Partnership

In a previous Tuesday Tutor, we discussed making sure everyone’s voice within your organization is heard. It’s just as important to be sure you’re hearing the voices outside your organization too.

“Client” is a common term in many organizations, and can refer to people both in and out of the organization. In many places, internal clients are different departments or different teams, while external clients are customers or someone receiving a pitch to become a customer.

At Attend Safe, we use the term “partner” a lot. That’s because in our efforts to protect events, nobody can do it alone, we have to work together, like teammates, like partners in achieving a goal.

As partners, it’s important that we understand each other’s goals, roles and missions.

We need to make sure we’re pulling in the same direction. An Attend Safe partner may have been planning for and working toward an event for months or years with an event site hosts that, likewise, become teammates in bringing it through safely and successfully.

These three partners each bring a zone of genius to the effort. The organizers know the people that are coming together, the goals behind the gathering. The hosts know the site, the capabilities and amenities that will be engaged. Attend Safe knows the safety protocols to protect a population in the midst of a pandemic.

It takes the knowledge of all three working together to achieve success.

That’s why Attend Safe recognizes that we’re partners in our efforts to continue safely gathering in person, and attending to life.
