Welcome to 2023: We’re Ready, If You Are
Experience pays.
Living in difficult times builds character, whether it’s from a disaster, a war or a global pandemic, those who survive usually come away with reserves of internal strength they couldn’t imagine before it happened. It allows them to engage future difficulties with confidence—like that World War II song says, “We did it before and we can do it again.”
So while news organizations as different as Fox News and The New York Times report dire news from the rapidly growing numbers of COVID-19 infections spreading through China right now—faster than any variant’s surge we’ve seen as yet on this side of the Pacific Ocean— predictions put the expected death toll in China at between a half- and one-and-a-half-million people. Plus, every new case offers the possibility of a more easily spread or more fatal mutation happening.
We’re pleased to see so many governments adopting the protocols that Attend Safe had recommended for just such an emergency: Testing to stop possible sources of infection before they walk through the door.
If it helps keep nations safe, isn’t a good policy to adopt for face-to-face events?
Attend Safe will work with our events-space partners to create testing strategies and contingency plans for their events, so we can be ready to both (1) mitigate the risks of attending in person, and (2) be prepared to react in case testing reveals a problem. (We can test and prepare for flu and RSV too!)
It’s 2023 already. We’ve been through this before. We’re ready to help our friends and neighbors get through this latest twist with the professionalism and confidence that comes from experience.
We’re ready to attend to your needs, so you can attend to life.
